To determine whether older patients who underwent esophagectomy had better outcome survival than those who were non-surgically treated.

Pathology confirmed ESCC,

Patients with esophagectomy or radiotherapy (RT)/chemotherapy (CT),

Age ≥ 70.

Having other malignant tumours,
